"Project Job Action"

Currently, 14 young people are participating in the project. One participant is still successfully completing a long-term internship in a painting and plastering company.

On July 8, 2022, a school festival was held at the Georg von Neumayer School in Kirchheimbolanden. As part of this event, there was a game festival in which we participated with our participants. For this purpose we built a throwing game and invited the guests to participate. There were some preparations to be made beforehand, which we did together with the participants.

Our construction trailer was exhibited in the schoolyard on this day and caused great enthusiasm among the students and teachers. Our boys and girls did a really great job ... a big praise for that!!!

The sub-project, the "design of a communication corner" was also partially completed. The Fatboys were handed over to the school at the school festival and created a lot of enthusiasm, especially among the students. The further design of the room will be continued after the summer vacations.

On the part of the socio-educational support, new admissions, job interviews, joint discussions with the job center and individual case-related support plan discussions took place in July.

A tour of the Gienanth company in Eisenberg took place with all participants.

The weekly training sessions in July focused on the following topics:
Nutrition and household management.

The language course for all participants was successfully completed in July.

Currently, 13 young people are participating in the project. One participant is currently completing a longer internship with the prospect of an apprenticeship starting in the summer.

On 24 June, the Donnersberg Summer Summit took place on the Donnersberg. We took part as part of the public relations work. Here, the Employment Society had the opportunity to present the "Job Action" project as part of the "Market of Opportunities". The participants were involved in the preparations in June. They were involved in making the exhibits, preparing the location and transporting and setting up the stand.

The weekly training sessions in June focused on the following topics:

Sport and exercise as well as nutrition and household management.

Our weekly language course for all participants with a migration background is still running.

Bauwagen aussenIn the meantime, our material has arrived and the "construction trailer" project is coming to an end. The wagon has received a new coat of paint and a new roof. Currently, our participants are working on the interior. The wagon will be completely covered with wood and will receive seat cushions and curtains from our sewing shop.Bauwagen innen

The sub-project "Designing a communication corner" is also being worked on. There was another on-site appointment at the school. The communication corner will initially receive several beanbags and curtains. Our participants went shopping for fabrics as part of a teaching trip and are currently cutting the beanbags to size.

The socio-educational support team held many individual discussions in May. For one participant, there was also a joint round table with the employment agency. The Job Centre also visited us several times in the context of case management. This enables a close, good exchange between all participants and is a very important and valuable appointment for the young people.

The weekly training sessions in May focused on the following topics:

Nutrition and household management, dealing with digital media and job exchange use, writing job applications, group work on financial living.

Our weekly language course for all participants with a migration background is still running and there was a company tour of the Schramm workshops. An important employer for us to acquire training and internship places.

"Project Job Action"

This month we again had a constant number of 16 participants in the project.

Two young people accepted a job and an apprenticeship on 01.04.22 from an internship. Another participant also received a full-time job subject to social security contributions in April. The places were filled immediately.

Unfortunately, still no material has arrived. The construction trailer has received a wooden roof substructure and the old paint has been completely removed from the outer facade. The underbody has received a new coat of paint. Now we are waiting for more material...

The young people used the waiting time together and took a detour into the Easter and spring time. They developed their own ideas and diligently built Easter bunnies and bird nesting boxes, which will decorate one or the other garden at Easter.

The other sub-project, the "design of a communication corner" was started in March with a brainstorming session at the school. As a first step, the participants sewed some seat cushions as samples to get a first impression of what it could look like. The project will continue after the holidays.

On the part of the social pedagogical support, the support plans were discussed with everyone and updated. Application procedures are ongoing. Further interviews have taken place.

The weekly training sessions in April focused on the following topics:
Applicant portfolios - identifying personal inclinations, interests, abilities, strengths and weaknesses.
Europe and me - getting to know Europe with its countries and capitals.

In April, a weekly language course for participants with a migration background started in cooperation with the KVHS.

An outdoor activity included a town rally in Kirchheimbolanden. Kirchheimbolanden as a district town has important and helpful institutions such as Caritas, Diakonie, Tafel, Brücke, district administration. These were picked up on in the town rally.

"Project Job Action"

This month we had a constant 16 participants in the project.

Two young people were on a 4-week internship: a young woman at the company Snack Support in Winnweiler and a young man at the company Donnersberger Industriepolsterei Kamy in Kirchheimbolanden. Both participants have been offered full-time employment subject to social security contributions as of 1.4.22 and will thus leave the project at the end of March. Another participant is in an internship at the company Blitz und Blank in Kirchheimbolanden.

All the others are working hard and motivated in the project. Unfortunately, progress on the construction trailer is slow because the material for the new roof cannot be delivered due to the current situation in Europe. The young people are busy removing the dilapidated parts of the construction trailer and removing the old paint from the outer facade.
…Spring flowers in the school garden
A lot happened in the school garden in March. The areas were covered with bark mulch, spring flowers were planted and the first beds were edged with wooden logs. Everyone was motivated and had fun.
… everything newly covered with bark mulch
On the part of the socio-pedagogical support, many discussions were held again and application procedures were pursued further. The first job interviews took place and were prepared in advance, open questions were clarified and tips were given. The young people were supported in their internships. In individual cases, contacts were made with the employment agency and therapy places were acquired. Interviews were held with new participants.

In addition, the team-building process was continued and an experiential outdoor activity was carried out. Group reflection and training sessions took place every Wednesday. In terms of content, the participants had the opportunity to get rid of positive and negative things. Further activities were planned together with the whole group. In addition, units on "Europe and I" took place. The focus of these units was the Ukraine crisis. Another unit dealt with the topic "Financial and personal lifestyle". All participants received folders for their personal documents and budget books.

Another sub-project ...the "design of a communication corner" was tackled with first preliminary talks.
